Make the Connection

The hardest step to getting connected is taking the first one.  Showing up at the first youth event where you feel you won't know anybody.  But you may be surprised with who you will know.  And even if you aren't, it won't take too much time to connect. 

I always tell guests that it takes just a few times of showing up before you feel like this is your youth ministry.  It's your place.  It's your church.  You'll feel like this because the students at HighPointYouth! are the best.  They are very welcoming because they walked that path and were welcomed well themselves.  And soon, you'll be the one welcoming others to a place where you can be yourself and be safe.  Sounds corny, maybe, but it's real. 

You're welcome to join us at almost any event, but Sunday nights are about the best place to start.  We also have several outreach events (Six Flags trips, Friday Night Mash) that are good, too.  But whenever you come, just be yourself.  And feel free to give me a call beforehand.  I'll be glad to give you answers to any questions you may have (if I know that answer, that is). 

Come try it out.  Plenty have and have often stated how glad they are that they did.
