Work as a team to support missions and complete a marathon.
Join the fun as we gather teams of all ages and run a marathon!
--Your team can have as few or as many members as you wish.
--Team members can walk/run as much or as little as they wish--as long as the marathon is completed.
On June 11, we'll gather at the Running Brushy Middle School running track and set up camps. We'll spend the next several hours walking/running around the track. There will be music, snacks, lots of encouragement, and lots of water. As each team member completes a lap, they'll press a lap-counter that keeps track of the team total. When that counter reaches 105, your team has completed a marathon! Congratulations!
Bonus: In addition to completing a marathon, your team also is working together to support missions--both domestic and abroad. This year's sponsored mission trips will go to Haiti, Russia, and to "Little Haiti" in Miami, Florida.
Your registration fee alone supports the trips. However, as you feel led, you are encouraged to get sponsors for your run. There will be prizes for the top 3 individual fundraisers. There will also be a prize for the top team fundraiser. Keep track of your donations by using the M4M Sponsor Form.
Want more details? Check out the FAQ on the M4M registration page. And get ready to run
a marathon!
Sponsored Mission Trips:
(June 18-27, 2011) "Little Haiti" area of Miami, Florida
(July 23-29, 2011) Haiti Reconstruction & Recovery
(July 21-August 4, 2011) Russia Mission Trip

More Thoughts: Less than 2% of the population has ever run a marathon as an individual. But life isn't about accomplishing goals alone. It's about working together as a team accomplish things of value--in this case, two things--a marathon and trips to help those in need around the world.
Working together, accomplishing together, and celebrating together!
Note about HighPoint Fellowship: HighPoint is a church in the Cedar
Park/Leander area that loves to focus on missions. But instead of just sending money to
places of need, we work hard to send people as well. The personal connection in
missions is easy to miss unless you actually go somewhere. So HighPoint sends. And
people on both "sides" are forever changed.
