I'm not sure if everyone has heard about this, but we are having a fundraising month at Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt!
If you go on any Sunday during the month of May (and really, they'll probably accept it on any day),
order some frozen yogurt (it's the good stuff, btw),
and hand them this flyer,
then 20% of the amount goes to HPY!
Pretty cool deal. On top of that, if you go this Sunday (Mother's Day), then mom also gets 20% off. A win-win.
Orange Leaf was also one of our Marathon 4 Missions sponsors and is located in between Flippin' Burgers and Little Caesar's Pizza near the Wal-Mart at the corner of 183/1431.
On to other stuff...the month of May is a little weird with our weekly scheduling, so make sure to take note of these changes:
May 13 - It's Mother's Day! There will be no MS Groups on Sunday night so students can spend time with their families.
May 27 - It's Senior Sunday! No MS Groups on this night either...AND no Sunday morning Elevate class. But make sure to check below for other important dates/events.
Six Flags online registration is up! Bring many friends...it's a great way to get the summer started right. You can also download paper registration forms (below)...but to sign up online, go here: http://hpyatsixflags2012.eventbrite.com.

HPY Weekly Stuff
REVERB (Wednesdays 7:00-8:30pm) All HS students invited.
REVERB every Wednesday night is a great way to stay connected to God
and to other believers. Plus, it's just fun.
MS GROUPS (Sundays 6:00-7:30pm) All MS students invited.
As a Middle School student, you're changing fast and facing tough stuff all at
the same time. Come connect with other students and adult leaders who care.
HPY Special Events
Middle School End-of-Year Bash (MS) 
May 20 (Sunday)
6:00-7:30pm
The school year is wrapping up! We'll celebrate by having a night of messy games and a bunch of pizza.
Instructions for the night:
1. Bring a dessert of some sort.
2. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting really messy.
3. Bring a towel.
4. Bring a change of clothes to go home in.
It will be fun!

Senior Sunday 
May 27 (Sunday)
This is the day HPY takes over Sunday morning at HighPoint!
We honor HS Graduates...and we also do church in a totally different way.
This year, it's a lot of worship time and several student dramas.
FYI-There are no MS classes or small groups on this Sunday.
High School End-of-Year LUAU (HS) 
May 30 (Wednesday)
7:00-8:30pm
It's Luau night! We'll celebrate by having a night of messy games, water games, and we'll be grilling hamburgers
and hot dogs.
Instructions for the night:
1. Guys--Bring a bag of chips (your choice).
2. Ladies--Bring some canned drinks (your choice).
3. Everybody--Wear clothes that you don't mind getting really messy.
4. Bring a towel.
5. Bring a change of clothes to go home in.
It'll be a great way to wrap up Finals and the whole school year.

Fiesta Texas! 
June 12 (Tuesday)
Summer is here! A road trip is a great way to get it started.
All HS and MS students are invited. Also family, friends, neighbors, people you meet on the street...pretty much anyone who wants to go. :)

The premiere summer event for all HPY MS students (and friends).

Joplin Mission Trip 2012 (HS) 
July 14-21
About 50 HPY students and leaders will travel to Joplin and spend a week helping with reconstruction following the devastation caused by a massive F5 tornado last May.

Experiencing a total solar eclipse is an extremely rare opportunity.
--If Jesus does not return sometime in the
next 12 years, this will be a seriously-
cool HighPointYouth Alumni event.
--If Jesus DOES return sometime in the
next 12 years, I'm pretty sure HIS
RETURNING will be an even-
cooler Christian Alumni event!
This total solar eclipse will last almost four minutes and will hit our area directly. Save the date and the time!
